Helping the Agricultural Adaptation Council’s Agri-Careers Pilot Take Flight
Ontario’s food and beverage sector was facing a serious labour shortage. To help employers attract and retain much-needed talent, the Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC) created the brand-new Ontario Agri-Careers Support Initiative (OACSI). The program supported eight innovative pilot projects, each tailored to address specific needs in Ontario’s growing food and beverage processing sector.
Our Engagement
- Communications Strategy
- Social Media Marketing
- Creative Services
- Website Development
Challenge
A key part of the pilot was sharing project outcomes, best practices and lessons learned. And there were some amazing stories to tell. But time was tight and expectations from government stakeholders were high. The Agricultural Adaptation Council needed a robust, engagement-driven, digital-first communications platform loaded with rich visuals, video and social media – and they needed it within three months.
So they turned to Anamorphiq, knowing they could rely on our extensive experience with HR initiatives in the food and beverage processing sector, combined with our deep creative and digital communications expertise.
Objective
Our goals for this program were to develop and share content that would reach industry and government stakeholders, and would:
Elevate visibility of the OACSI results
Position AAC as a leader in the effective use of digital communications
Introduce a harmonized creative approach across all AAC communications platforms that included OACSI reports, website, social media and videos
We started by listening. And we learned that AAC needed to communicate project stories in both English and French, and a digital approach was paramount. While AAC had never undertaken any program of this type before, they were open to creative ideas and thinking.
That led us to develop a digital story package, communicated via a variety of channels including a series of bilingual reports, lively and informative videos, LinkedIn livestreams, social media content, and a new web page to host everything.
Results
Our program was a success on several levels: it helped to raise awareness of AAC as an innovator, and it provided the organization with creative new ways to showcase the outcomes of the eight pilot projects.
Best of all, it gave them clear evidence points on which to develop future programs to support the industry.

The Anamorphiq team took the time to learn our needs before creating the strategy. They brought our vision to life and used their skills and creativity to make it happen in unexpected ways.
